Former Kibwezi Member of Parliament late Kalembe Ndile’s family and friends flocked to his rural home in Ukambani Makueni County on Friday June 11, 2021.
The late’s body left Lee Funeral Home early Friday morning, winding its way to Mbui Nzaui in Kibwezi West, where the former politician and businessman was laid to rest.
The burial ceremony was attended by political bigwigs, including the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila, Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Mavoko MP Patrick Makau, Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua, Kibwezi West MP Patrick Musimba, and Machakos Woman Representative Joyce Kamene.
The news of the former legislator’s death was confirmed by Antony Kioko- his first-born son who said his father died at around 5.35 a.m on Sunday, May 30.
While the burial ceremony was underway, the late Ndile’s Kamba clansmen and women showcased their brilliant music dance as they entertain mourners who went to assist them to bid their last respect to the man they loved.
Kamba traditional songs took the center stage as dancers showcased their dancing talent on a red carpet as mourners cheers.
The late honorable Kalembe will be widely remembered for his great impact on the country’s political arena.
