Looming Crisis For Nakuru Residents After DP Ruto’s Critical Tour In The Region Because Of This
Deputy President and the United Democratic Alliance party leader Honorable William Samoei Ruto on Thursday, June 25, 2021, made a critical tour to Nakuru county where he attended the ordination of Bishop Dr. David Macharia of Full Gospel Churches of Kenya, also to popularize his UDA party as well as his Presidential bid.
Immediately after the church service, the second in command left to his Karen residence in Nairobi county where he was blocked by irate residents who were seen unmasked chanting the Hustler Nation slogan as they pledge support for Ruto’s presidential bid come 2022 general election.
DP Ruto’s visit to the region comes as a piece of bad news to the residents due to the coronavirus pandemic following the unmasked residents who attended the rally which might spark the spread of the deadly disease and possibly lead to the imposing of Lockdown and strict Covid-19 protocols to the region by the government.
Deputy President tour to Nakuru county comes on some few months away from the much anticipated general election slated for 9th August 2022 in a bid to replace the incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta whose term is almost over.
Dear readers, what do you think about the situation in the region?
