ODM party leader Raila Odinga Makes His Last Effort To Woo Back His Counterparts Back To NASA Coalition
The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has given up over the contested political parties allocation in an ultimate endeavor to woo back his estranged friends in the opposition coalition. Yesterday he jotted down to the four partner parties in NASA, acknowledging to share funds assigned to Members of Parliament
This was a climb-down by the Odinga who has recently contended that he does not owe his alliance partners anything.
According to the Standard, He wrote to Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi of Amani National Congress (ANC), Ford-Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula, and Chama Cha Mashinani’s Isaac Ruto.
“The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is grateful for the positive meetings that have taken place among the leaders of our respective parties,” said Raila in the letter.
“Consequently, our party has pondered internally and decided that, without bias, we share with our coalition partners ODM’s share of the Political Parties Fund attributed to parliamentary.” He added.
Raila affirmed positiveness that the determination would give rise to the closure of the frail exchange of words.
This comes even as Wiper Party yesterday unanimously decided to resign from the NASA coalition. It should also be recalled that Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC left NASA a few days ago.
