Mixed Reactions as Migori County Governor Obado Calls Supporters For 2022 Presidency

The 2022 race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022 is continuing to gain momentum ahead of the next general election with various candidates declaring bids for the top seat.

As at now, Deputy President William Ruto is believed to be the leading candidate in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, followed by Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

DP Ruto is seen to be as the biggest threat to the ODM party leader in his quest to succeed President Uhuru as he will be making yet another stab at tha Presidency after previous unsuccessful attempts.

However, another candidate from Western Kenya has declared his bid for the top seat, raising questions of whether he could be another threat for Raila in his quest for the presidency in 2022.

Migori County Governor Hon Zachary Okoth Obado has declared his bid to join the contest for the Presidency in 2022, and will now be battling it out with Raila, Ruto among others at the ballot.

The Prople’s Democratic Party(PEP) party leader has declared that he will be contesting for the party’s ticket in the oncoming preliminaries to vie for the presidency in the August 9th 2022 polls.
