Both President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto are quick to take every opportunity to criticize one another in public whenever they get it.
The differences between them continues to increase as a result of this, as the next elections are getting closer.
And now, the Member of Parliament for Kandara, Alice Wahome, is making the statement that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s desire was to do away with the term restriction of presidency altogether.
She stated that DP Ruto and his friends have earned the wrath of President Uhuru Kenyatta for revealing his intentions to eliminate the restriction on the number of terms a president can serve in office. This restriction currently limits a president to serving in office for no more than two consecutive terms.
Allies of DP Ruto’s have been attacking President Kenyatta for some time now, telling him to stay away from campaigning for Raila Odinga. This has been going on for quite some time.
In addition to this, the DP has been arguing that President Uhuru Kenyatta is to blame for the high cost of living due to his policies.
According to him, the disruption of the Big 4 Agenda occurred when the President allied himself with Raila Odinga through handshake.
