The KANU SG has continued to allege that the Head of State is still the one who vetted the five judges extending that the will of the people of Kenya stands to the final verdict that will see the BBI process resume to completion.
However, despite the remarks from the KANU party Secretary FlGenerl, Lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo and a close ally to President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned the Head of State that he should not dare fight the Judiciary advising him to follow the Constitution procedures to have the BBI process recap.
“The Executive must desist from taking actions that hurt the populace, tantamount to cutting its nose to spite its face,” Lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo a former commissioner of the Constitution Implementation Commission (CIC) has said.
PLO Lumumba has also warned informing that any attempt the Head of State fails to follow the law, will result in Anarchy informing that the Constitution should be respected.
“A trend is emerging in several African Countries where Politicians and their acolytes insult Judges who hand down decisions unfavorable to their chosen path. This arrogance is a recipe for anarchy. The Law must be mightier than the Sword for genuine peace to prevail,” PLO Lumumba has said.
