Today one of the tourists who had recently visited Kenya has decided to share his story with his fans of how he was conned online.
The tourist revealed that he had come for some adventure in Kenya and he had come to film Kenya’s way of life. The tourist chose to visit the famous Lamu Island to see if he would get some amazing content.
As the tourist was walking around with his camera, one local approached him and he promised to allow him to shoot one of the traditional wedding ceremony that was to take place in the evening. The local man later asked for five hundred shillings so he would take him but the tourist was reluctant. However the man took the tourist to an event and asked to be paid.
The tourist revealed that he waited late at night and there was nothing as a wedding ceremony to shoot.
Kenyans have responded to the post and have told the tourist he is lucky his camera never disappeared into thin air
