Big Win For Uhuru-Raila’s BBI And Supporters After This Declaration Made During Madaraka Day Celebration
The Building Bridges Initiative BBI Bill has today March 1, 20,21 received a major Boost following declarations made by the labor secretary-general. Francis Atwoli during the labor day celebration hosted by Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta at the statehouse Nairobi County.
During his speech, the Central Organization of Trade Union boss declared that Kenyan workers are fully behind the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.
“As Kenyan workers, we will support we will stand with you, we will stand with the handshake team in ensuring that one of the best legacies you can leave Kenyans is a new constitution,” he said.
His statements came as good news to both President Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga who is believed to be the initiators of the BBI Bill, and barely weeks, after speculations went round citing that the BBI is at stake with only 13 county assemblies, had passed the correct version of the document.
The flamboyant leader who was recently elected the CUTO secretary for the fifth time said that COTU leadership resolved to support fully Bill to help solve pertinent issues that occur after every election in the country.
