A minute video has emerged online capturing a dramatic scene that unfolded today Wednesday, July 7, 2021, the moment when a traffic police officer in plain clothes is robbed of his cellphone in broad daylight.
Shockingly, the video shows the police officer receiving and making calls from his walkie-talkie radio before three suspects loaded in one motorbike snatch him the phone and rode away on a busy Kenya highway.
The clip, shot by a matatu passenger who was nearer to the crime scene which has since been shared by Kenya top blogger Robert Alai showing the police officer left surprised by the action.
This comes in a time when there is alarming increase of such robbery cases in the country especially in the Kenya’s capital Nairobi city.
