Emotions High As Thousands Of Residents Storms Late Killer Cop Kangogo’s Burial Ceremony (Video)
Former police officer Caroline Kangogo’s final send-off is currently underway in their father’s home in Elgeyo Marakwet county after her autopsy was conducted on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
Thousands of Elgeyo Marakwet county residents stormed the burial ceremony of their daughter to give her a proper send-off after she brutally committed suicide inside her father’s bathroom.
The circumstances surrounding her death have raised a bigger debate, especially online, as many Netizens asked if the officer shot herself dead or was killed by unknown people who may have stage-managed the death scene.
Some experts questioned how the said late killer cop Caroline Kangogo could shoot herself and the gun remain in her hand intact, while her legs were in a relaxed position. They said no bloodstain was splashed on the wall where the bullet passed through. They said the death was not typical of gunshot suicide.
While confirming the incident, Elgeyo Marakwet county police commander Patrick Lumumba who led officers to the scene said they are treating the death as a suicide.
Caroline Kangogo was a prime suspect in the murder of two men, including police constable John Ogweno, in Nakuru county on Monday, July 5.
Kangogo later allegedly shot dead businessman Peter Ndwiga Njiru, in a lodging in Juja, Kiambu county, about 200km from where the police officer died.
