ODM Leader Raila Odinga Blasted By Netizen After Posting This On His Facebook Page

Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has been blasted by a Migori County Facebook user after the former prime minister took to his official Facebook page to show off the recent project currently taking shapes in Siaya County and Kisumu County respectively.

While taking to his official Facebook page, the ODM party leader wrote ” Siaya county projects, Joined President Uhuru Kenyatta for the official commission of the Kodiaga-Wagai-Onyinyore/Akala, and Nyangweso-Muhanda roads. Thereafter the Siaya-Bondo and sanitation project was commission as well.”

The angry Facebook user from Migori county identified as George Pinto while replying to hon. Raila’s post, slammed him citing that he Raila Odinga only develops his backyard and has since neglected his followers from Migori county especially farmers who are now living in dense poverty following the already collapse sugarcane farming sector marred with an endless corruption scandals over the past 15 years.

The middle aged man however requested the ODM leader to talk to President Uhuru to come into the rescue of farmers in migori county, by raising the already fallen Sony Sugar company which is their only hope as farmers adding that it’s the only development they want as at now from the two flamboyant leaders.

This comes at a time when sugarcane farming in Migori County has turned sore due to late harvesting of the farm produce which is reportedly takes upto five good years before being harvested by any company leading to increased poverty in the region to upto 90% now.

  1. I support this, in Migori County we only have Sony sugar factory which vast farmers depends on. Farmers now can’t pay school fees, unemployment of employees caused by fall out of the company.
