Raila’s Handler Accuse Governor Obodo For Working With DP Ruto To Scuttle Raila’s Influence in Nyanza Region
Orange Democratic Movement party Director of elections Hon. Junet Mohammed has accused Migori Governor Zachary Okoth Obado of working with Deputy President William Ruto to scuttle Raila Odinga’s influence in the region.
This comes barely a day after Obado reportedly met DP Ruto’s brother, David Ruto, in his residence in Kileleshwa.
Sources privy to the meeting reveal that plans are on top gear to link Onado’s people’s Democratic Party (PDP) to United Democratic Alliance UDA as an affiliate party.
Deputy President William Samoei Ruto will to Migori County later this month and will be hosted by Governor Obado before joining into joint meeting in the region.
The second-term governor who once said he will be rolling out an aggressive campaign to position himself as the leader of the Luo community.
He also disclosed his plans to ensure a new political formation is birthed in Nyanza region to rival Mr Odinga’s ODM party.
Mr Obado hinted that his Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) on whose ticket he was elected as the governor in 2013, would be his party next year.
Governor Obado had recently renewed his supremacy attacks on ODM leader Raila Odinga, promising to have a new political formation for Nyanza while at the same time rubbishing the (BBI).
