Half term is supposed to be a period when students and pupils get time to relax off from studies and away from their parents.
However, this was not to be the case with Jackeline Akinyi a form 4 student at Naya Mixed secondary school in Siaya County who met her death today morning in Wi-Omino village in south Uyoma location in Rarieda Sub County.
The two are reported to have sired a child during the 2020 covid-19 period in which they sired a child together. The 22-year-old boyfriend Mohammed Ali is thought to have committed the heinous act after suspecting that the lady was having an affair with another man something which angered him.
It is reported that the two had even decided to cohabit together during that lengthy period of a covid-19 break but were forced to separate since the lady needed to go back to school.
The boy decided to drop out of school at form three and is reported to have disappeared to his aunt’s place in Homa Bay County after committing the act.
