A suspected thief was today April 20, 2021 morning lynched and burnt alive by irate mob in Nyatike area in Migori county after he allegedly returned home years after killing another man in what is is termed as robbery with violence.

The middle-aged man believed to be in his early 30s was accosted by the angry Nyatike residents who accused him of being one of the thugs who terrorize people in Nyatike and the entire Migori county
“He is very bad at night,” said Onyango while talking to lakeside.co.ke news writer, a resident in Nyatike area, adding that he could easily stab whoever resisted his attempts to steal from him at night.
Police from Nyatike police station has however picked the charred remains of his body and took it to Migori level four Hospital mortuary in Migori town.
