As 2022 approaches, the race to succeed the incumbent governor and the PDP party leader Gov. Zachary Okoth Obado gains momentum as the race has attracted two serious candidates.
The two serious condenders here are Hon. Dalmas Otieno and Ochilo Ayacko. The duo have in the recent past been elected as members of Parliament and their track records can be found in both Rongo and Awendo constituencies.
While working as the mp , Hon.Dalmas initiated various development records which can upto now be seen and felt by the citizens while during his tenure, Ochilo Ayacko can only be remembered for using the electric poles to do what he could do best.
Instead of hunting for votes, one Ochilo has turned to name calling. when he takes to the podium, he will always be talking about one Gov. Obado. A time will be calling when it will be between one and the ballot and not name calling.
