Deputy President William Samoei Ruto and his entire United Democratic Alliance party Battalions have suffered a big blow ahead of the 2022 general election as former Nairobi County Governor Hon. Mike Mbuvi Sonko allegedly decamps from DP Ruot’s UDA outfits for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake partner right Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga coalition.
This comes at a time political commentators in the country have alluded that the former prime minister right Hon. Raila Odinga is taking the country’s political arena by a storm after his recent political activities where he started last week by touring the Mt Kenya region for two days where he visited almost eight towns within three hours before meeting business delegates from the Mount Kenya region to deliberate on matters of the mountain economy.
A day after the business meeting the ODM boss attended a KANU party delegates meeting where he promised to work closely with KANU leader Hon. Gideon Moi.
Hon. Sonko’s move comes barely 10 months away from the next general election.
