Former Prime minister right Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement party is reportedly set to hold another auspicious mega meeting after the much-awaited Azimio la Umoja Kenya meeting which is set to be held this coming Friday, December 10, 2021, where he is expected to shade lights on whether he will be vying for the Presidency seat come 2022 general election or whether he will be fronting someone else for the seat.
The Orange Democratic Movement party leader who is arguably President Uhuru Kenyatta’s preferred successor is also expected to unveil his deputy who is also expected to come from the Mount Kenya region to help in attracting more support from the region.
While speaking at Chungwa house in Nairobi county where the ODM boss received several defectors from Kajiado county who defected from DP Ruto’s UDA party to ODM party today, Raila pointman and the Suna East Member of Parliament Hon. Junet Muhammed ruled out the rumors that the forthcoming Kasarani announcement is an ODM party event citing that it is an Azimio la Umoja event that will include almost every party in the country.
He went ahead saying that the ODM party mega meeting is underway around January of next year and the party secretary-general Hon. Edwin Sifuna will soon give out directives concerning the said mega meeting.
