The race to succeed the incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta is gaining momentum as the political arena is gaining more heat following the endless political activities run across the country by political bigwigs including the Orange Democratic Movement party leader and also the former prime minister right Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, Deputy President and the United Democratic Alliance party leader Dr. William Somoei Ruto, Amani National Congress party leader right Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper party leader Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka, and KANU party leader right Hon. Gideon Moi.
Today Saturday, December 4, 2021, the Deputy President and the United Democratic Alliance party leader Dr. William Somoei Ruto and his lieutenants were badly heckled and roughed up by irate youths chanting the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga’s slogan, while he was delivering his speech to residents of Nyeri county.
The irate youths were heard chanting “Raila tibiim, Raila tialalaaaa, Baba Tibiim” forcing DP Ruto to temporarily stop his address to calm down the youths.
The second in command earlier toured different parts of Nyeri county where he meet different lobby groups in a bid of promoting them through his hustler Nation empowerment assembly.
