Amani National Congress party leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Musalia Mudavadi has today Saturday, September 18, 2021, received a wild reception in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s political stronghold, Meru County where he has been received by Kakamega county senator Hon. Cleopas Malala and a few grassroots leaders from the Mount Kenya region.
The Amani National Congress party leader is also expected to meeting residents of Meru county in a bid of popularizing his ANC party and also his 2022 Presidential ahead of the much-awaited general elections with only 11 months remaining.
The former Deputy Prime Minister’s visit to the region comes at a time when his political rival and the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has also taken his political charm offensive to the coastal region preaching peace through his Azimio La Umoja, Pwani in a bid to regain his political stronghold which it seemed to be taking different political directions.
