Breaking: UDA’s Njuguna Wanjiku Clinches Hotly Contested Kiambaa By-election By Landslide

The hotly contested Kiambaa by-elections for the Member of Parliament seat have been decided today after residents of the area cast their votes yesterday.

The By-elections were marred by emotions and very much uncertainties as the jubilee contestant stormed the polling station over claims that votes were being rigged by the United Democratic Alliance party.

Today, according to K24 digital news reports and other reliable sources, John Njuguna of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has successfully clinched the seat.

The reports claim that John Njuguna won with 21,773 votes to 21,263 votes garnered by the Jubilee party’s Kariri Njama.

This is a major boost for Deputy President William Ruto and his UDA members who are sure that they will get the much-needed support from the Mt Kenya region in the 2022 general elections.

However, this is not an assurance to the UDA party as Jubilee will not be sidelined because of one by-election which did not campaign for that well.
