Chelsea were willing to offer either Tammy Abraham or Callum Hudson odoi in exchange for the Norweigian but their quest was turned down after Dortmund’s sport director Michael Zorc said that they are planning firmly with Erling Haaland for the new season.
Lewandoski is now the chelsea’s top target star after failure to sign Erling Haaland.
Chelsea believes that a £50-million transfer bid will be able to convince Bayern to sell their 32-year old super star.
According to the Sun dated 17th July by Dan king,chelsea are now preparing to move Lewandoski away from from bayern and hopes that the stated bid will be able to convince them.
Chelsea are although facing hard times to bring Bayern into a negotiating table for Lewandoski as the club wants the Poland star to sign an extension to his contract which has not expired until 2023.
Lewandoski turns 33 next month.
