Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua Slammed After Making This Allegation About Economist David Ndii
Mathira MP Hon. Rigathi Gachagua has been slammed by a Twitter user after he Alleged that he and economist David Ndii both studied at Kirinyaga High School.
“Prof. David Ndii is an amazing economist. Listening to him giving a brilliant presentation on the bottom-up economy model being championed by the Deputy President William Ruto reminded me of our days at kirinyaga high school in 1982. Prof Ndii and I attended our A level at kirinyaga High school where he majored in Economics while I pursued literature before we joined the University of Nairobi .
He was sharp then as he was this weekend. I am happy that he is in the economy team of our presidential candidate.”
His statement took a twist after Kenya iforum responded while slamming David Ndii for joining hands with DP Ruto’s Hustler Nation after previous consistently referring to the second in command as corrupt.This come couples of days after the Oxford University-trained economist David Ndii officially joined the “Hustlers’ Movement” as a strategist.
Ndii who took to his official Twitter handle to announce that he has decided to work with Deputy President William Ruto, a man he has severely criticised in the past over corruption.
Even now, the economist did not paint the Deputy President as a saint.
He noted that DP Ruto was introduced into a corrupt system, and could have pretended to be “holier-than-thou”.
