It has emerged that deputy president William Ruto will not be invited to a top event being organised by the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee party.

According to details revealed by the Star newspaper on Thursday, three top leaders who are not part of the Jubilee party will be invited to the event.

Among those who will be invited is Orange Democratic Movement ODM party leader Raila Amollo Odinga who is a close ally if the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Star has established that Kanu chairman Gideon Moi and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, whose parties have formal arrangements with Jubilee, will also attend the key summit on November 30.

The attendance of the ODM party leader Raila Amollo Odinga has already been confirmed by the ODM party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna who was being interviewed by the Star newspaper.

He has also disclosed that he has not personally been invited but incase he got invited, there was no problem for him to grave the top event by their handshake partners.

“There will be no problem if ODM is invited. In any case, I have not seen any letter inviting me to the Jubilee NDC and if I am invited, I will attend.”
