‘‘The diplomatic community wanted to know some information that was missing, including the comparative advantage of Kisumu within the Lake Region Economic Bloc and the East Africa region considering Kisumu is an entry point to both regions, sitting at the end of Lake Victoria and enjoying maritime advantage,’’ said tne first term County boss.
Nyong’o’s administration will use the platform to be provided by the conference to market key centers of the economy among them tourism, agriculture, industrialization, sports and culture.
After the conference, Kisumu will host the Africities summit in April, next year. It is a Pan-african summit which brings together representatives from African Countries.
