Angry President Uhuru Kenyatta while delivering his speech during his today’s address to Kenyans indirectly lectured his deputy William Samoei Ruto over what the commander in chief described as hunger for leadership.
President Uhuru Kenyatta whose term is almost over said that he is not bothered by who will be elected to succeed him come 2022 general election, but rather the well-being of Kenyan citizens who elected him to be their president for the two terms.
He also urged Kenyan’s top leaders to unite as one and ensure that the livelihood of citizens changes to a better status and also to help him fight the endless corruption cases in the country.
He also urged leaders to ensure that tax revenue collected on behalf of Kenyans be used wisely to improve the living standards of the citizens and to stop politicking all the time, citing that leadership is a God-given thing as he agitated that elections will come and go, leadership will come and go but Kenya will always be there.
He finalized by requesting Kenyans to also urge their respective leaders to unite and work together towards achieving their goals as leaders as he added that, he reunited with ODM leader Raila only to reunite the country and work towards the improvement of the living standards of the citizens.
