Deputy President William Samoei Ruto seems to be in a tight political corner as top Kenya’s political bigwigs lining up against his 2022 Presidential ambitions, with recent developments from both President Uhuru Kenyatta, Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon. Raila Odinga, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and KANU leader Gideon Moi.
This comes just a day after President Uhuru Kenyatta revealed that he will support one of NASA chiefs to succeed him come 2022 general election in a meeting attended by Wiper party leader Kalonzo in Ukambani.
On the other hand, Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga during the burial ceremony of the later former Kibwezi member of Parliament cited that DP William Ruto should be put in jail due to corruption allegations, he went ahead to cite that Kenyans should not hand power to a corrupt individual while referring to the second in command.
Wiper leader and the former vice President honorable Kalonzo during his speech at the same burial ceremony while responding to a question raised by Kitui County governor Hon. Charity Ngilu about any possibility of him reuniting with Raila Odinga, Hon. Kalonzo said that he will stick with Raila to scuttle DP Ruto’s 2022 Presidential bid.
