Wednesday, March 1, 2023 – Former Interior Cabinet Secretary, Fred Matiang’i, has gone into exile in the Netherlands after being threatened by President William Ruto‘s regime.
The former powerful CS has been living on borrowed time since the day President William Ruto was declared winner of the August 9, 2022, presidential election.
Ruto’s regime has been threatening Matiang’i and his family and on February 19, Matiang’i decided to flee from the country.
According to the controversial lawyer, Miguna Miguna, Matiang’i fled the country using a KLM cargo plane that carries luggage and flowers from Nairobi to Schipol Airport in the Netherlands.
“Matiang’i fled Kenya in the middle of the night wrapped with fresh cut flowers from Kenya for export. Let me take this in slowly,” Miguna said.
Impeccable sources said Matiang’i has sought asylum in the Netherlands.
