Deputy President William Samoei Ruto is currently in Kiambu County for a church service where is also expected to stage a campaign rally in the region to drum up more support for his Presidential bid and also to popularize his United Democratic Alliance party which is aiming to replace President Uhuru Kenyatta come 2022 general election.
Later next week Sunday DP Ruto is expected to chair an online Zoom meeting identified as New England UDA Meet The People Tour at the UDA headquarters delegation, where he will be hosted by UDA master of ceremony BW. David Mambo, Veronica Maina the United Democratic Alliance secretary-general, and Hon. Kimani Ngunjiri member of Parliament Bahati constituency.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 18, 2021, starting at exactly 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and is expected to deliberate on different issues concerning the UDA party welfares, Covid-19 protocols will be highly applied.
The meeting comes just barely a month after DP Ruto’s UDA opened their diaspora branch in the United States of America which was officiated by Senator Irungu Kangata and other top UDA officials.
