Residents of Kitui are still in disbelief following an incident in which a middle aged woman has been accused of killing her son to death using a panga in Kitui central, Kaveta area. According to residents who witnessed the whole incident, the woman attacked her son following the loss of 100 shillings.
According to the police, the young boy had been sent by his mum with 100 shillings but later came back claiming the money got lost. Police who have arrested the suspect report that the woman will be put in police custody until court day which is expected to be on Monday. This is just a series of incidents in which parents attack their children for petty mistakes which turn out fatal.
The body of the boy has been taken to Kitui referral hospital mortuary as police continue with their investigations into the matter. However, the big question here is,
