14 top Government Officers who have resigned to join politics and the respective parties they have settled on.

The Azimio movement currently benefits largely from the top Government Officers resigning to join politics.

These include Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Chief Administrative Secretaries, Police Commissioner’s etc.
Here is a compiled list of the names, respective parties and what they are contesting for;

1. George Natembeya

The former Riftvalley Regional Commissioner is now eyeing the Trans Nzoia gubernatorial seat. He had earlier made it clear that he would be contesting with a DAP-K ticket which is under the Azimio led by Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

2. Wavinya Ndeti.

The ex-Transport Chief Administrative Secretary is now contesting for the Machakos Gubernatorial Seat. She is largely expected to be heading to Azimio la Umoja Camp.

3. Joseph Boinnet.

Recently the Tourism CAS is now seeking the Elgeyo Marakwet gubernatorial seat. He is fully in UDA Party and the information is publicly available on the Hustler Nation social accounts and pages.

4. John Munyes

He has resigned as the Cabinet Secretary for Transport and Mining to vie for Turkana Gubernatorial Seat. Our series of analysis outcomes shows Munyes Heading to the Hustler Nation Camp.

5. John Mosonik

Ex-Petroleum and Mining CAS will be going for Bomet’s Gubernatorial seat. He is fully in UDA Party.

6. Charles Keter.

Resigned as the Devolution CS to contest for the Kericho Gubernatorial seat. He is full in UDA Party.

7. Gideon Mungaro.

The Ex-Devolution CAS recently resigned to run for the Kilifi Gubernatorial seat. He is expected to be joining the Azimio team before the 26th of February.

8. Adan Mohamed

Ex-Industrialisation CS resigned to vie for the Mandera Gubernatorial seat. Expect to be joining the Azimio team before the transfer window is shut.

9. Patrick Ntutu.

Resigned as Labour CAS to vie for the Narok Gubernatorial seat. Fully in UDA Party.

10. Fred Segor.

Resigned as the Wildlife Principal Secretary to vie for the Baringo Gubernatorial seat. Fully in UDA Party.

11. Ken Obura.

The Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of East Africa Community and Regional Development resigned to fight for the Kisumu Gubernatorial seat. Fully in Azimio la Umoja Camp.

12. Hassan Noor Hassan.

Resigned as the Education CAS to vie for the Mandera Gubernatorial seat. Expected to be joining the Azimio la Umoja team.

13. Mumina Bonaya.

Has resigned as Education CAS to vie for Isiolo County Women Representative seat in the August general elections and many others. Expected to be joining UDA Party.

14. Fred Segor.

Wildlife Principal Secretary resigned today and is now fully in UDA Party.
