Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju has informed of what will happen tomorrow immediately Deputy President William Ruto allied Members of Parliament both in the Senate and in the National Assembly resign as new details emerge.
With the August polls inching closer as each passes by, politicians are also expected to declare their stand on the parties that they will be using to vie for their respective positions. So this means that those who have already declarer interest to use other parties other than the one that took them to the positions they are holding will have to dich and resign from their respective parties.
In this regard it has emerged that DP Ruto allied MPs and Senators have threatened to resign from Jubilee and the Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has informed that he is aware of what is being planned for Tuesday 8th February and that they are very much prepared as the ruling party to counter such.
The angry Tuju told them that they should do it immediately and not waste any time so that their seats can be declared interest.
“the seats should be declared vacant immediately the lawmakers officially resign from the party.” said Tuju
Tuju however said that those members who have already resigned from Jubilee ee won’t be taken any action against as this will end up wasting a lot of time in the courts.
“There are a lot of legal issues including the contradiction in the law that there cannot be a by-election three months to the General Election,” said Tuju.
