The One Kenya Alliance bigwigs have continued to rock headlines with pressure being mounted on them to support one of the leading 2022 candidates.
The Alliance seems to have finally given in to pressure after details have emerged on the four tough conditions they have given Raila for them to support him.
According to a publication by the Sunday Nation today, the Alliance has narrowed down to a list of four minimum irreducible demands that Raila must meet.
The first demand according to OKA is for Raila to give them the running mate slot, in this case Raila will choose one of them to be his running mate.
The second demand is for Raila to hand over the Nairobi gubernatorial seat to the Alliance.
The third demand OKA has presented to Raila is for the zoning of key regions, in this case, Raila will not field candidates in certain areas perceived to be the strongholds of the One Kenya Alliance leaders.
Finally, The Alliance has requested for key cabinet slots in Raila’s government.
It is not clear if Raila and his team have accepted these demands but owing to the crucial role the One Kenya Alliance is set to play in August polls, Raila might have to accept some of these demands if he wants the Alliance’s support.
