The effects of covid-19 has countinued to cause ravage to kenya economy. The country is experiencing the new outbreak of omicron virus which has undergone mutation. Yesterday,the country recorded a highest positivity rate of 29 percentage ever since the first case was reported . The ministry of health cabinet secretary, Mutahi Kagwe has urged the citizens to continue taking the vaccine which have been distributed at the accredited medical services.
Today being the deadline the government had set for all citizens to have taken the first dose. The government spokesperson Uguna has finally directed on what will befell those who haven’t been vaccinated.
The unvaccinated Kenyans will only access web-based govt services. The move is now operational. For someone to get face to face services will be required to produce a Certificate.
All this is to contain the spread of the virus. As people gather to celebrate Christmas and new year holidays,they should observe the health protocols and be brother keepers to contain Covid-19.
