Regarding Ruto’s contentious win, Raila Odinga remains upbeat. The Azimio leader and his followers have noted a few flaws that, in their opinion, will convince the Supreme Court to overturn Ruto’s triumph. William Ruto, the next president, has received congratulations from numerous foreign leaders. Ruto is figuring out how to start working and fulfill the commitments he made to Kenyans. Both sides are getting up for a furious argument.
William Ruto has been controversially picked by Wafula Chebukati to be the next president of Kenya, but the four commissioners have chosen not to accept responsibility for the choice. Chebukati was accused of releasing his findings.
Raila has been challenging Chebukati’s decision with compelling justifications. The truth will be revealed to Kenyans in the coming days. Three fresh ideas from Raila have the potential to push Chebukati to start over. Raila is worried about several things, including whether the four commissioners are hiding something and the fact that more than 140,000 voters, or 65% of the electorate, chose the president over governors, senators, and female representatives.
This comes as critical details emerge disclosing what happened at Bomas, Monday 15th. As true as it was that sad truth that even nature cannot reject.
Because there are pieces of evidence to justify its truth as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
When all the tallying was done in Bomas, Raila was leading. Ruto was following closely at 49%. The commissioners were denied access to the cumulative results two days before the results announcement, however, to Chebukati’s surprise, Raila was still leading.
Finally, it was open on Monday that schemes to rig out Raila couldn’t work out, so he prepared the results and tabled it before the seven commissioners, Raila leading with 51.16%, Ruto at 48%. Chebukati calls Uhuru and tells Uhuru that Raila is leading. Uhuru immediately advances Raila’s security, they were in the statehouse during the result announcement day.
Uhuru out of joy congratulates Raila and prepares to join the occasional in Bomas. Ruto sermons Chebukati, around 1 pm, ask him to quote his price to mention him, president-elect, Chebukati quotes 400million, Ruto wires him 800million. Chebukati comes, picks the original results, hides in a room, alters it, and starts calling the commissioners one by one to sign the form.
They demand to verify the results again, that they signed if it’s the one they are signing again, but Chebukati refuses. He forces them to sign without being questioned, four commissioners deny, claiming they can’t sign what is unverifiable.
Chebukati blatantly having pocketed 800million, walks on stage and pronounces Ruto the president-elect. Raila and Uhuru are both shocked in the statehouse, Ruto pretends as if he is also surprised by the results, walks on stage, and picks his certificate, in this caucus, the British High Commissioner has been helping Ruto big time.
Elsewhere, in his book Ngugi wa Thiong’o opined that Raila Odinga had refused to eat. He was on a hunger strike. He grew thin and pale. His right palm had gone dark, the arm had pimples and boils as well. He was receiving extraordinary punishment. He stood for his words. Dictators had to go. Moi had to go.

Odinga was involved. Seven years already in jail. He kept his words. Kenya needed fresh air. He was willing to pay the price. I felt touched by his story. Soon his mother died. His other relatives including his aunt followed. He would never be allowed to attend any of the burials. It was painful. It was Real torture.
He remained in detention without trial. The government would not allow it. Soon he was transferred to Kamiti maximum prison. He was taken to the torture corner. The isolation block. The detention camp. A prison within a prison. Here he was daily served half-cooked ugali with vegetable water with a few limp leaves floating around. And for the first time in two weeks, he was served food.
The blows to his head dazed him. He fell to the floor and lay there. Rono, a GSU officer, and others jumped from his head to his genitals. His left leg twisted and was confirmed broken. He was either going to speak the truth or become a slice of dead meat. He waited for the end, but it did not come. But still, Odinga refused to give in.
Raila Odinga genuinely fought for our second liberation.
Ruto never won guys, he was a distant second. He bought the ticket at a sweet fee. 7.2 Kenyans were traded for 800 million to Ruto.
