On 31 December 2019, World Health Organization was informed of cases of pneumonia of unknown cause in Wuhan City, China. A novel coronavirus was identified as the cause by Chinese authorities on 7 January 2020 and was temporarily named “2019-nCoV”.
Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases. A novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans. The new virus was subsequently named the “COVID-19 virus”.
With the third wave of the coronavirus Pandemic seen to have hit the world with a this, there are some major reasons seen to me the reason behind it’s fast spread.
Here are four major possible reasons why the coronavirus is spreading fast;
1. “I trust my workmates, surely they are responsible enough and they are Covid-,19 free.”
2. “These are my besties, I know where they have been.”
3. “We are related, I know them well and besides, we are in a small group.”
4. “I am now tired of the mask, it’s uncomfortable and I can not breathe properly when I wear it.”
