As Kenyans continues to experience economic hardship that was created by Covid 19 pandemic and European war that is being fought between Russia and Ukraine which have caused the price of basic commodities such as petroleum, sugar and maize flour to skyrocket, the government have finally intervined and lowered the price of LPG gas.
Speaking to a local media station, the cabinet secretary in charge of energy and petroleum disclosed that the cost of 6Kg cylinder will go down to six hundred shillings while the 13Kg cylinder will be lowered to 1300Sh.
Conferming the incident, his excellency the president of the republic of Kenya honourable Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta disclosed the price of goods globally have started stabilizing. “People thought i am the one causing the price to hike but God is working on our side ” He stated.
