Impressing Profile of the New Harambee Stars Head Coach Unveiled by the Football Kenya Federation

The Football Kenya Federation has today unveiled Engin Firat as the new Harambee Stars coach. He will be assisted by Kennedy Odhiambo and William Muluya. Jerim Onyango will be the new Goalkeeping Coach.

The football kenya federation praised much the profile of Coach Engin being a holder a UEFA Pro Coaching License and was most recently attached to the Moldova National team.

Coach Engin has also worked previously as head coach in the Iranian Super League with Saipa, Folad Tabriz, and Sepahan, as well as the Iranian National Team.

“I am motivated and excited about the challenge. I am confident that we can get the positive result we desire in this qualification campaign,” said the coach.

“We are impressed by his professionalism. He’s one of the best in Turkey and we want to work with him in our Qatar 2022 (FIFA World Cup) project,” said FKF President Nick Mwendwa.

Coach Engin’s assignment will be the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Mali, away and home, on October 8, and October 12, 2021, respectively.
