“John Munye and Charles Keter Should Be Sacked!” Senators Furiously Respond To High Fuel Prices

The senate shelved its entire Wednesday afternoon business to dwell on an essential motion, tabled by Siaya senator James Orengo that put petroleum Cabinet secretary John Munya and his Energy counterpart Charles Keter on the spot.
The senators asked why the two cabinet secretaries snubbed parliament, despite having retrieved the sermons in good time. They equally questioned why money meant to stabilize the fuel prices that runs into billions of shillings was not extended to EPRA as required.

The lawmakers have called on the heads of state to sack the two cabinet secretaries. Energy cabinet secretary had recently distanced himself from increase in Fuel prices, arguing that the fuel matters falls squarely under the petroleum and mining docket.
