My demo is still on! – RAILA ODINGA tells his supporters who are high on alert in Nairobi

Monday, March 27, 2023 – Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has assured his supporters that anti-government protests are still on.

This assurance came slightly over two hours after the protests failed to take off as planned on Monday.

The Opposition had on Friday announced that their anti-government demos would begin at 6 am to 6 pm.

The former Prime Minister in a tweet also shared a video saying that he was not interested in a handshake.

“No handshake, tuko on, Mondays and Thursdays,” Raila tweeted

In a past video, Raila says they are holding demonstrations because it is the right thing to do.

In Kibra and Kangemi slums, thousands of Azimio youths are on high alert waiting for Raila Odinga’s signal of taking demonstrations to the Central Business District.

Raila Odinga is holding the demos despite Inspector General of Police, Japheth Koome saying the demos are illegal.
