The family members of the late Caroline Kagongo gathered at her home in Nyawa Village, Elgeyo Marakwet County and resolved that they will not cremate her as she had wanted on a suicide note she wrote before she died they would give her an ordinary Christian send off.
The family noted that cremation was against the cultures of the Keiyo Community. They however noted that they will respect all other wishes including taking care of her two children.
The family spokesman conveyed heart felt condolences from Kagongo’s family to the two families that had lost their loved ones after allegedly being murdered by Kangogo wishing she ought to have surrendered for truth to come out.
Kangogo had written a suicide note, apologising to her parents and children. She had also made some requests to her family. Adding that her divorce had pushed her to depression and asked the police service to help those who were going through tough times.
