Orange Democratic Movement party leader and the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance Coalition presidential candidate Rt Hon Raila Amolo Odinga and his running mate Hon Martha Karua’s Azimio brigades are reportedly set to storm the former prime Minister’s rural home, Homabay County tomorrow Wednesday, June 29, 2022, ahead of the much anticipated August polls.
Led by the NARC KENYA party leader and the Azimio designated deputy President Hon Martha Karua, who will be hosted by Homabay County Azimio gubernatorial aspirant Hon. Gladys Wanga, the Azimio brigades will hold a series of campaign rallies in a bid to try and consolidate the region’s votes, drum up more support for their Presidential candidate as well as popularize the Azimio Manifesto.
This comes as critical details emerge as the latest reports from the Nyanza region are said to be planning to shun Raila’s six-piece voting pattern request as they allege that the ODM party primaries were not conducted fairly and they promised to elect leaders of their choice not other people’s choice for them.
Hon. Martha Karua will be accompanied by several Azimio la Umoja leaders including Hon. Sabina Chege, Hon Anne Kananu, Hon. Mark Nyamitta among many others.
