Thursday, February 16, 2023 – Azimio One Kenya Alliance party leader, Raila Odinga, has revealed the amount of money that President William Ruto used to bribe 30 Jubilee Party Members of Parliament who visited State House last week.
The 30 MPs led by nominated Member of Parliament, Sabina Chege, distanced themselves from Azimio and pledged to work with Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Alliance government.
Speaking on Thursday, Raila Odinga revealed that Ruto bribed each Jubilee MP with Sh 5 million to dump Azimio.
“We know each MP who visited the State House was offered Sh 5 million,” Raila said.
If Raila Odinga’s statement is true, then it means Ruto used Sh 150 million of taxpayers’ money to bribe MPs yet millions of Kenyans are facing hunger.
It is also hypocritical for Ruto and his sycophants to pray for the rain yet Sh 150 million can feed 10,000 modest families in a month.
