Thursday, February 16, 2023 – Police have launched investigations after thugs broke into the palatial home of Public Service Cabinet Secretary Aishwa Jumwa in Loresho and stole cash and other valuables.
According to a police report, the incident occurred at around 1:45 pm on Wednesday when she was away on official duty.
The gang of three men cut the electric perimeter wall and gained access to the main house through the back door which was not locked.
They were armed with crude weapons.
They went directly to the master bedroom upstairs and ransacked the bedroom and stole gold jewelry and two laptops.
They then went to the bedroom where they found the CS’s two daughters sleeping and robbed them of Sh 1.1 million, three mobile phones and jewelry of unknown value.
One of the daughters sustained slight injuries during the incident.
