The battle for supremacy between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deptuty William Ruto continues to unfold ahead of 2022 general election, as both the two political heavyweights headed for another supreme battle in the Kiambaa Constituency by-election where both the two have already fielded their favorite candidates, with DP Ruto leading his UDA fraternity as President Uhuru leads the ruling party Jubilee.
Things seem to be falling apart for president Uhuru Kenyatta and his party jubilee as the majority of mount Kenya leaders allied to him are turning their backs in support of DP Ruto UDA candidate, led by Kirinyaga Women Representative Purity Ngirici who was elected under the Jubilee party has pointed fingers at her jubilee party firing warning to them to prepare for the same defeat they recently went through in Rurii, London and Juja by-elections where the Hustler Nation carried the day.
Hon Purity Ngirici also pleaded with Kiambaa Constituency electorates to support the hustler nation candidate, citing that it’s only in the Hustlers camp where there are plans of the region’s economic recovery of the grassroot level hustlers, she also argued the two parties to maintain peace saying that UDA and Jubilee are one thing and there is no need of fist fighting one another for any reason possible.
The Kiambaa seat fell vacant following the death of Paul Koinange who succumbed to Covid-19 related complications on March 31.
